Scotia Academy teams at the Under 7 and Under 8 age group, play in the Scotia house league.
Scotia Academy teams at the Under 9 and Under 10 level, play in the CISL Academy League.
All players on Scotia Academy teams Under 7 and Under 10 who are playing on a team, must register and attend Scotia Academy Training.
All Scotia Academy Players must pay League registration fee as well as the Academy Training fee, which are separate but both required, in order to be registered and play on a Scotia Academy Team.
Players wanting to play on Scotia Academy Teams, playing in CISL U10 Academy Leagues must attend tryouts posted by the club for Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter programs. These CISL teams, are selected by a panel of evaluators, including the club Technical Director, Technical Committee staff, Academy Program Coordinator /Trainer, and selected Team Coaches for those teams.
Players wanting to play on Scotia Academy Teams, playing Scotia house league, go through an informal evaluation by the Scotia Academy Program Coordinator.
Summary: Players in the Academy must be registered with the Academy as well as registered with the Club for team league play. There is one league in the summer, and one league in the winter. There are two different registration forms. The Academy registration form is only completed at the start of the first semester. There are four semesters, starting in September. Semester 3 and 4 are combined as a spring/summer session. Payments are made at the beginning of each new semester. Academy fees cover the training and skills for the Academy program. Club registration forms are completed at the beginning of each league season for summer and winter play with appropriate fees paid for the current playing level as recommended using the above criteria.
As of Spring 2010, U12A teams are now included in Academy training.
